Kuip Limited ("we", "us", "our") operates the soulMates mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the App, including tracks you swipe on (likes and dislikes), your music preference profile, and messages you send to other users.

Device Information

We may collect device type, operating system version, and a unique device identifier for push notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account
• To build your music personality profile and match you with compatible users
• To enable messaging between matched users
• To send push notifications about new messages or matches
• To improve the App and develop new features

3. Data Storage

Your account information and music preference profile are stored securely on our servers. Music preference data is also cached locally on your device for performance.

Messages are stored locally on your device. Our servers only hold undelivered messages temporarily (up to 30 days) until they are delivered to the recipient's device, after which they are removed from our servers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with:

• Other users: Your display name, profile photo, and compatibility score are visible to your matches.
• Service providers: We use third-party services (such as authentication and cloud messaging providers) that process data on our behalf.

5. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. Messages are stored only on your device; undelivered messages are held on our servers for a maximum of 30 days before being automatically deleted. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email.
